  25. I have an AG-455U (same thing, but you get the cool manual zoom lens, you 
  26. lucky dog).  The SVHS ON/Auto switch determines what mode you will record 
  27. in.  On a VHS tape, it will only record VHS, but you can record VHS or 
  28. SVHS on an SVHS tape.

  30. The AG-455/456 also ALWAYS outputs the SVHS and Composite outs, too, like 
  31. you said.
